A sense of serenity fell upon me along the ponds.
He was a young buck, peacefully nibbling on the vines.
Meandering in the meadow, it was time for a rest.
Calmly tucking underneath a tall hedge, he laid down.
Peaceful, but alert he was. Watching his visitor his gentle eye’s gaze seemed to hypnotize.

You captured Bambi! and so well captured too π
I couldn’t believe how calm he was. He must live in a non-hunting zone. Thanks Andy.
That’s rare isn’t it? π
such a sweet face…love those big eyes!
One could almost swim in those eye right? Thank you.
yes I love critters very much βΊοΈ
What a sweet face – we actually encountered a deer Saturday morning on the main street of the town we were visiting. It was nice to see even the locals were getting as big a buzz out of it as we were! π
Is that right Joanne? How bizarre is that. I hope the deer wasn’t scared. Probably ruled the roost right?
Fortunately there was NO traffic so he seemed completely aware of where he was. When he reached the other side another deer came out of the bushes to greet him before they both disappeared back into the bushes! π
Great shot
Thank you so much Hillechien.
