It will be hard to beat the amazing day I had two days ago with the bald eagles. A truly magical day that will most likely be the highlight of my photographic journey.
But adventures will continue and beautiful scenes will unfold before me. As there is still plenty of snow left on the ground from last Saturday’s blizzard, the covered bridges in Thurmont, Maryland were calling me.
It had been a while since I’ve visited them. In fact it was in 2013 when I did my first Project 365. Click through for their history
Beautiful and showing the past in the present, these bridges are strong and assuring.
And what’s a day without at least one bird popping in to say hello?
Emily my friend, your work is poetry.
Poetry. ❤
You are always so kind to me. Thank you so much.
Your photos are a joy.
Truly everyone honors me so. Such a generous comment Jet. Thank you so much!
Wow that landing! 🙂
Awesome Andy ! I thought it was pretty cool too. Thank you.
What hatsandhorses said! I don’t live toooo far from Thurmont; I need to check those bridges out! Thanks for the push! Gorgeous and wow what a bird too!
Laura and Sally, what can I say both of you humble me. Now Laura..why haven’t you gone and seen these yet? There is also one near Gettysburg as well that I didn’t get to. Time for a field trip!
I have found that when you really stop to explore and discover what each day holds they all become as special as your eagle day. I love the barns and the bridge you photographed.
Thank you so much for your generous comment Charlie. I guess the older I get the more I appreciate everything I see. We’re not immortal after all. 🙂
