A Bird and a Gnat
The warming afternoon and the gnats are out.
Little warblers begin darting in the trees.
Limbs bare in the late autumn.
Time to fatten up before the final flight south to warmer lands.
The Gnats have no chance, as the warbler watches with a keen eye.
With his eye on the prize – the warbler moves in lightening speed.
Got you, you little Gnat!
Okay, okay, where IS that darned LOVE button???!!! Emily, this is so amazing, LOVE LOVE LOVE! ā¤
And this little one loves you back just as much. I saw him again yesterday. So happy they are still here. Thank you!
What a beautiful little bird.
I hadn’t realized how many beautiful birds there are until I started looking. So happy to share this one with you.
Oh he’s just gorgeous!! That top photo is something pretty special š
I agree Sarah ! Couldn’t believe I got that capture. Thank you so much.
You might want to think about entering it into a bird or wildlife photography competition!
You are truly too kind Sarah. I can only hope someone would enjoy my captures.
The pose is wonderful but the insect above tells a story that judges love to see in competition entries š
Gorgeous. It’s nice to be back following Emily… for some reason WP dropped you out of my favourites! How dare they š
LOL ! YES ! How dare they indeed ! I’ve had that happen to me as well. Welcome back, but no worries, I get to enjoy you on facebook too. š Hugs!
Hahaha. Gorgeous catch, both for you and the Warbler. š
Thank you for your kindness Sylvia. Indeed, an awesome catch.
