Ready to Ride?

KF1nov14-0130
The boys wanted to pop in and say “Hay! How ya doing?” Autumn has been pretty awesome and we’d love for you to come over to the barn so that we could ride a beautiful country lane.

We can enjoy the meadows as well as the forests.

We’ll ride by the pond and say hello to the ducks waddling around in the water.

We may even find something fun to munch on while along the trail. Although it seems that someone else had the same idea.

So what are you waiting for? Let’s go for a ride! We’re waiting for you.

    • That is quite a special animal Bob. Would you believe he was imported at the age of 2 1/2 for the princely sum of $250,000? Of course I paid just a little pittance when I got him due to many issues. He is such a sweetie. Somehow I don’t remember autumn being notable in Dallas when I lived there.

Happy to bring back fond memories for you.

  1. What a lovely little story and imagery. I trailed along with you on my imaginary horse. We had a great time taking in the sights. What fun to see the golden forest down to small yet vibrant beetles and the wonderful way in which the world transforms around us.

    Thank you!

    • The question is – what color was your imaginary horse? Indeed, autumn is truly magical as the world changes and quiets down to rest for old man winter. Thank you so much for such a wonderful visit you paid to me.

      • Oh gosh here I am two weeks later, what color was my horse!! Well mine was a black horse, beautiful and glistening.

This year I felt exceptional appreciation and intrigue towards the changing of the leaves. There’s so much to be appreciated in nature. Thanks for the journey.
