This week has been hot. Really Hot. Tropical Florida Hot. So hot that when you sit there the sweat just pours off of you.
In between jury duty sessions, I’ve been heading to the barn to tend to the horses and participate in a five-day dressage clinic. The heat’s been sucking the energy out of me, and all I can do when I get home is hydrate and rest. Just a couple of more days of a full schedule and I can look forward to the tall ships arriving into Baltimore for the Sailabration 200.
I really think I need a fan like “Prince Harry” did at the Maryland State Fair. Seems he’s got the right idea.

We are about to head into that, summer will be with us soon. I love that you set the fan up for the horse. We had to do some similar things last summer in the heatwave, when our air conditioning broke down for our cat.
Oh my, the poor kitty! My cat loves the heat and hates the cold. Out all day and night long in summer, hibernates in winter. Go figure. 🙂
