Love is like a friendship caught on fire. In the beginning a flame, very pretty, often hot and fierce, but still only light and flickering. As love grows older, our hearts mature and our love becomes as coals, deep-burning and unquenchable.

Beautiful colors, mesmerizing!,
What a wonderful description Barb. Thank you so very much and hope you’re resting now after Thanksgiving day. 🙂
Beautiful..! as always 🙂
Thank you so much Andy ! Happy Thanksgiving today. 🙂
Cheers!!! 🙂 🙂
The cheers will be after my hike tomorrow. 🙂 It’ll be bitter cold and we’re bushwacking and clearing a 6-mile trail. Bet you’d love it.
I would! love fresh air 😀
ehem… are you playing hooky and staying indoors by the fireplace?
LOL ! I wish I was. Nope, it’s been quite cold this week so a fire was appropriate. Been cooking for 3 days now. Resting now. Do you celebrate Thanksgiving?
WE did last month. Hey Happy Manurkey Day. That is combination of Hanukah and Thanksgiving. And on behalf of USA and all the Jewish people, I celebrate with them. Yay!
Rest? There’s still dishes to be wash.
Happy Thanksgiving day to you and yours, MIss Emily.
HAHA !! You’re right..dishes are done here though. We ate mid day.
Manurkey Day? That is the craziest holiday I’ve ever heard of.
I think of you a lot Perpetua, and am so grateful that I’ve met you. You’ve always been a wonderful friend. 🙂
Okay, relax then. You deserve it.
Me too. The Owl makes sure that I won’t forget you! Especially your daily post.
There mutual adoration, my friend. Keep safe. 😛 Emily. Pax Perpetua
These are beautiful! I love fire, so warm and inviting… mesmerizing. Sigh.
Has someone been playing with her branding? 😉 I lovelovelove the new B!
Thank you so much Ilex ! Yes, I did come up with a new watermark and like the B also. So glad you do too. No fire tonight as I’ve been cooking all day. Hope your Thanksgiving was fabulous.
These photos look so realistic that I tried holding my hands up to the computer screen for some warmth, but it didn’t work.
LOL ! I can always count on you to make me laugh. Thanks!
These are great Emily… love open fires, I could sit and stare into the flames for hours, there’s something so calming and mesmerizing about dancing flames 🙂
I agree with you ! Have you ever put pinecones in your fire? They pop and leave a beautiful scent.
Wow! I didn’t know that, will definitely be trying that out! Thanks 🙂
