Never thought I would say it, but I’m actually over saturated with oranges, yellows and reds. The Autumn is still stunning on the Chesapeake Bay and it’s been glorious. However, I’m ready for something new to shoot.
After working through the 600 images from the horse/rider portrait shoot from Saturday, I needed a photography break. Heading down to the river late in the afternoon, I took these few shots. I was hoping to get out on the water, but all have been winterized for the cold weather. I didn’t have enough interest to pull the canoe out either.
I’m going to try to shake it up a bit today and find something else interesting to photography. Although..I’m sure once I get out there I’ll be wowed by the autumn colors again.
Hope you had a wonderful weekend. Bella

Gorgeous scenery – peaceful and relaxing.
One day you will come and stay here. Enjoy the beauty with me Mary.
That would be a painters dream – I’ve been to Maryland several times on business w/o very much time for sight seeing. You live in such a beautiful part of the country, your camera brings tremendous visions for your fan club to enjoy that fill the soul.
One day…mi casa es su casa.
May be kind of cold, but sure is a peaceful time of year isn’t it? 🙂
If it was only to be so. Thanksgiving is only three weeks away, then Christmas. Eeh Gads! I’m not ready for any holiday making.
There certainly was quite a nip in the air today.
My siblings and I have a horrible habit of over-spending money on xmas gifts, SO we set a $50 dollar limit on presents. It might sound penny pinching but we put more money into food and enjoyment 🙂
That’s a great idea ! We definitely have downscaled from what we used to do. And the decorating thing – Naw…so over that.
Takes too long to setup and even longer than to take it all down lol 🙂
After doing it for 30 years, the whole decorating, baking cooking thing..it gets old.
True that! at that point you may as well just go out for dinner and have a great time lol
Well, there is always the snow to look forward to…
Oh great..stuff I’ve got to shovel. Gee thanks Fatima. 🙂
You’re right..perhaps there will be a winter wonderland.
That’s exactly what I was thinking. 🙂
Beautiful autumn colours. 🙂
You’re in Florida right? How I wish you can enjoy this in person. It has been so glorious.
I know what you mean about finding something different to shoot, Between birds and color, I need something else for a while.
At least you have birds to shoot. Mine are all the same boring suspects. How many shots of a cardinal do I need?? Waiting for the ducks to arrive.
Very soon you’ll be able to take shots of the elusive yeti in a snowstorm! 😉
I do love your humor !! Now that would be exciting. You’ll like today’s pics.
