This week’s challenge has been difficult for me to show through pictures. Sure, I could show a picture of my house, my cat or my family, but that is really only part of what creates a home.
Truly home is where the heart is. Wherever you are, whether it be where you sleep at night, or out on an adventure the reaches into your soul. Home is carried within yourself. Share your sense of home and community with others and the world will be better for it. Bella

Isn’t Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings amazing? I don’t know if you saw my post of her home, but talk about rustic ! Humid, hot, mosquitoes with no relief. Don’t know how she did it.
I think they were made of sterner “stuff.” My mom and I were recalling what her mother and grandmother did as farm wives! I hug my washer and dryer every day…
This is lovely. We carry our home within us and the most wonderful thing is surely to feel at home wherever we go. To feel comfortable and at home within one’s own skin. That is surely what we would all aspire to. xx

Well, I’m not so sure about being on the porch if it wasn’t screened in. Mosquitoes are awful in that area. A screened in porch, by all means yes! If you dig further in my blog, I have a post of her home at Cross Creek that you may enjoy if you haven’t seen it yet.
