Along the road to the veterinarians are a few old barns left standing from the early years. I’ve always wanted to stop and capture them, but am usually rushing to the vet for a sick horse.
Today, this forgotten barn was standing in the rain begging to be remembered for all time. Taking this with my iPhone 4S, and editing in Lightroom adding Vignette 2, Preset B&W Look 1, medium grain, and OnOne Preset Filter 85A-Warming I achieved this effect.

Thanks Renee ! I really do wonder about the history as well. There is a photographer in the area here that created a photo book of the barns in our county. He left a card for the owners to arrange the shoot and got history of the barns. Think I need to do that also.

Pfffftt….Not fair…At least we had sun today after a week of overcast and rainy. Cold though.

It is true Bente. While they aren’t all that old, in comparison to European history, they certainly are old for us.
