It’s a very healthy post… 🙂
Very well captured… 🙂
Thank you so much Drake. Needless to say, several of them went home with me that day.
I can taste the sweetness!!!
There is nothing like a Florida orange Rebecca. Hope you can find some where you are.
Have just got back from Portugal and their oranges are fabulous. Lucious and sweet and no pips!!! How do they do that??
Lots of cross breeding and pollinating. Although I did get tangerines and they were filled with pips. The Portuguese oranges were sweet?
Great texture in this image! Craving an orange now…:)
Me too now that you say that. Thank you so much Tricia, so happy you enjoyed this photo.
Very nice! 🙂 🙂
Thanks Maggie ! Freshness from the tree.
excellent still life..superb lighting and you have caught the texture perfectly…I can almost smell them…
You are too kind – thankfully with a circular polarizer filter I was able to cut down the bright sun for this shot. It was the middle of the day.
Beautiful!!!
Thanks Rexlin!
I must say I miss my fresh Honey Bells!
I have to agree, I miss being able to get fresh Florida oranges close to the groves. Makes a difference.
🙂
each year as my birthday rolls around I think of the Strawberries in Plant City I used to smell growing in the fields and the Strawberry Shortcake around the corner for a !.00
It’s strawberry season already ! Scour the markets for those Florida berries. None are better.
I must go get some then I love FL ones Plant City used to be in end of Feb/ early March I must eat them till mine are grown in April and May 🙂
These are so perfectly orange that I wish I had one to eat right now. Absolutely delicious photo!!
Thanks Judy ! Ugly Florida orange equals fantastic flavor and juiciness. Pretty California orange with thick peel = YUCK !
