Today was a field trip to northern Carroll County, not 20 miles south of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania through the sweeping Maryland farmland.
While photography was not the purpose of my trip, sometimes you have to enjoy the journey on the way to your destination.
I just couldn’t help myself to do a screeching halt by two attractive farms along the road. Luckily I’ve developed the habit of keeping my cameras in the car and should something come up across my path, I’m ready.
Both of these barns were beautiful in their own right with bright blue skies in the mid-morning. But I wanted a little more than just a regular photography.
Bringing both of these images into Topaz Impressions I added a painterly effect. Hopefully you like the result as much as I do.
