Rustrel is a tiny village nestled at the foot of the Plateau d’Albion in the Parc Natural Regional du Luberon which merits a detour because of its amazing ochre cliffs known as Le Colorado Provencal.
I’ll put that on my list of things to visit on our next European road trip: The Luberon is such a lovely area! You should see the huge and amazing fields of lavender: they really have the WOW factor!
lovely
Thank you so much Dian
You’re Welcome 🙂
I love how beautiful the flowers are with the backdrop 🙂
Rustrel is my favorite little village in the Luberon. You would love it there.
For sure! I love places like these 🙂
A gorgeous bit of the world, love the roses.
Are you familiar with the Luberon area Charlie? It really is pretty marvelous.
Beautiful.
Thank you so much my dear.

The Luberon is truly amazing and I was in several off the beaten track villages. If you go, I can share with you our route.
We’ll probably go next summer, as we love the area. I’d be very interested to know about your route. Anything off the beaten track is fine with us. 🙂
I took photos with a gps enabled camera. Let me see if I can dig out the ‘map’ that it created.
