Maryland was more than represented among the exotics at the “Wings of Fancy” exhibit at Brookside Gardens. These beauties can be found among gardens and natural areas in North America.
If one is lucky and discover a caterpillar in the garden, you could bring it in and feed it host plants to encourage it to go into the cocoon stage. Waiting patiently a butterfly is sure to emerge.
