I must admit, as a confessed sugar addict I never share my desserts. Imagine the surprise of my husband and friends that as tempting as my desserts may seem, they have no chance at getting a taste of it. I’ve even threatened those with my fork who tempt fate and try to get a piece of the action.
This delectable dessert was served to me in Le Moulin de la Galette Restaurant in Montmarte in Paris. Site of one of the two remaining windmills in Montmarte. Immortalized by Renoir in his painting “Bal du Moulin de la Galette” and well visited by Picasso, Toulouse-Lautrec and many others.

Great idea, but have found that food photography is not for me.
It looks scrumptious, and to be eating it in Paris, one of my very favourite cities, especially Montmartre, is just the icing on the cake, so to speak.
