And so the water flows in the valley.
From streams to the river.
Rushing easier than in the spring rains.
Winter is near and the last breath is being taken.
And so the water flows.

this is beautiful, emily –
Thank you so much Ks Beth
Very Nice!
Is the county still going to remove the dam?
Hi Ronald, yes the plans for removal continue. It seems to be to keep being delayed. It’s incredible to see the change in the amount of tree debris and Boulder movement from the Ellicott City flooding.
Love your page – would love to connect with you to learn more about what you do.
I have been working for the City Water Dept for 35 years. For the past 8 or so years I have been researching water history, documenting, scanning, reading everything – spec books, blueprints and drawings. The past couple of years I have been tasked with moving the DPW Museum. I go around and try to find objects to place in the museum and the Baltimore City Archives.
This past summer I was kayaking at Daniels dam. Nice. If you would like more info – rep5355@msn.com
Beautiful shots, Emily.
Thank you Jane and sorry for such an incredibly long delay in replying.
