      • Well, “up” here in tyhe Texas Hill Country it’s hot, of course, but not too bad. In the upper 90s. Not too humid. That makes it bearable. It good to be farther away from the Gulf Coast, and at about 1900 feet. Usually it’s 5 to 10 degrees cooler here than in Karnes City, where we used to live. And there it was much more humid, too.

  1. I feel so sorry for late nesting BB. The pair here I think held off on their third nest, as the heat and humidity here in central VA was brutal during July and is not much better so far this month. Not sure what happened to the first 6 from nest one and two, as after about three weeks, they vanished…
