One of the best places on the east coast of the United States for bird photography is the Wild Bird Rookery at the St. Augustine Alligator Farm in Florida.
Click on the video above and enjoy some of the incredible sights and sounds of the bird rookery. Hopefully one day you may experience this yourself.
Wild alright! Look at that hair! wow lol 😀
They really are rocking the punk aren’t they Andy! Hope you’re doing well – such a lovely family photo for your avatar.
Thank you! ^.^
Nicely produced video. The music was awesome as well. Looks like paradise there!
It certainly is a bird paradise Shannon, but noisy !! Thank you so much. I love that music too.
I was there once and cannot wait to return. Such a “bird’s eye-view” of everything there as you walk on the boardwalk above the alligators.
It really is such an amazing place – also add Gatorland in Orlando to your visit list. That is just as incredible. Thanks Lorrie
Amazing birds! 🙂
Gorgeous captures – I particularly LOVE the stubborn Egret that won’t let go, lol!😆
It’s crazy how they do that Joanne. Vicious little suckers they are. Poor parents suffer so. Then they go at it with their siblings. Thank you so much for your kind compliment.
Wonderful pictures, Emily! I pass St Augustine every now and then, and knew about the alligator farm, but not the wild bird rookery. Thanks for sharing!
When you go, it’s a timing thing Tiny. When I was there early December, it was a ghost town. It gets busy March – June. The zoo has a page that gives you an idea of when to go. Thank you so much!
this is wonderful
