The morning started with embers burning on the ocean’s horizon. A girl and a dog ran up the beach, racing to catch the rising sun.
Clouds remaining from an overnight rain fueled the rising rays and the earth began to burn.
Running up the beach, only to return to chase the opening sky.

I do love Florida with the glorious colors. Even sunset was beautiful but I wasn’t at a kodak capturing kind of place.

Wasn’t that amazing? These mornings are few and far in between I’ve learned. And the color didn’t last all that long.
The thing with sunrises and sunsets is the timing. It’s all over in a few minutes, so one must be in the right place at the right time. Lucky you were!
