Maine

Greetings from Southwest Harbor

An easy Sunday morning glowing with glorious early light. It is low-tide in Southwest Harbor and the remaining waters shined like mirrors along the shores.

Lobster boats floated awaiting along with other water vessels moored in the harbor. Many skiffs tied at the docks waiting for their captains to awake.

ME13jul14am-6044It is as if time had stopped and all was quiet. Not a soul in sight, just a few gulls foraging in the mud. Would the tide begin to turn and awaken the world?

  1. What beautiful photos – the reflections are so clear. You captured the light so well that I could feel the morning air against my face. Great job!

  2. Beautiful shots of a gorgeous area. Hope you have one of those fantastic, quiet holidays – here’s to Maine, the way life should be.
