Never thought I would want new cats, but this pair of beautiful four-week old Kittens have quickly changed my mind.
A darling boy and girl that are nearly identical are being fostered by a friend of mine, along with their sweet mother and calico sibling, “Peter the Great” and “Lily” had a field trip to the manor this afternoon for a photo shoot.
Lily was the talkative one, while Peter was the explorer. At first they were overwhelmed with the huge world around them. After all, this is the first time they’ve spent time outside. I could clearly see that Peter will love the outdoors. Lily seems more of a companion cat.
While laying on the ground to get a different perspective I had a tough time as they both kept walking quickly right into my lens hood. Sigh…models.
I could have spent a full day photographing kittens and now have a new found respect for pet photographers. It took two of us for the photo shoot. One at the ready with the camera, the other picking up the kittens and setting them back in place. With a constantly moving kitten this was pretty challenging.
But so adorable !! May just have to make room for them at the manor.

O. M. G. Room, indeed! It’s been such a long time for me to have kittens, since we always adopt the older sweeties. I forgot how BLUE those eyes are….. Oh my…. ohmyohmy…
Can you imagine having these two cuties running around in your house?? I may have to get a new home for Sunshine. Something tells me she’d have issues if they moved in.
Great photos!
Thank you so much ! Means so much from you. 🙂
I can hear their sweet mewing from here – how adorable – and how many snuggles did those two get during their outing I wonder, lol! 🙂
Disgustingly way too many snuggles. Put them on hubby’s big lap and they both fell asleep. It was so darling.
Sweet! 🙂
These are just adorable Em…..lovely shots 😊
I’m going to play with them again this weekend. Can’t stand their cuteness. It’s too much. Thanks Mark!
They are too cute for words! I’m sure that the manor has room for them. 😉
Oh tons of room. However, her royal highness – Miss Priss Sunshine may have something to say about it.
These two have personality plus. Adorable little ones!
You’re absolutely right Judy. These are two very special cats.
They are adorable and I’m sure Tuxedo would approve. Beautiful pictures too!
Can you imagine? Tuxedo would have been the master of the house playing non stop with them. It would be bedlam. 🙂
That’s a nice thought.
Kittens always look so sad…..and adorable of course! Beautiful set of photo’s! 🙂
I think it’s that odd look in their eye. Believe me, these two were plenty happy. 🙂
So Stinkin Adorable Indeed – Great Captures 🙂 Happy Day!
Thanks Renee ! Hope you have a fabulous weekend.
Brilliant kitten shots, they look so adorable and such blue eyes.
You are too kind Ben. Appreciate your wonderful comment.
May???? You must! I want to see a gradual post to adolescence. Can they be any cuteir? *if there such a word?*
Big smile on my face. Thanks Perpetua! I’m trying to figure out how Sunshine would deal with the two interlopers. I will certainly add new pics each week. They grow so quickly!
Terrific shots…and tremendous subjects. I’m a complete sucker for kittens (and cats generally–we’ve got five of them).
