It’s been a busy weekend, and today was spent with hubby’s childhood friends from 45 years ago. Of course, a tour through the train room was part of the enjoyable day. With three long trains running simultaneously, each managed to not crash into each other.
But party time isn’t over as tomorrow is yet a different party. This time a baby shower with 50 Latin women. Now that will be interesting. Hope you’re having a blast this weekend!

Wow, yeah, your photos are great, but the wow is for your hubby’s train layout! I’ve seen some good ones, but that’s the most realistic yet!
And this is just a little part of it. You wouldn’t believe what he has done with this layout. Custom made buildings, little hobos underneath bridges, camp grounds. Has everything except horses. 🙂
My father would have loved this.
Awww..and my hubby would have loved to have shared it with him as well. Thank you Lynne.
My grandfather’s whole basement was a huge train city. We kids would be down there for hours playing Train! Thanks for the memories!
Oh wow, that must have been absolutely amazing ! Trains bring out the child like happiness regardless of one’s age. It’s my pleasure to share these with you.
Fabulous train pics, Emily. Those guys must have had a ball. Enjoy the baby shower. Now, that should be a very lively occasion. 🙂
The shower was awesome – They were all Guatemalan and the kids were so well behaved. A wonderful community they have. Lots of laughter.
Wonderful captures- It brings me back to time spent with my father. He said the trains were for me, but we all know now just who exactly they were for 🙂 You have a a great talent! Thanks for sharing your view of the world!
