There is more to sex appeal than just measurements.
I don’t need a bedroom to prove my womanliness.
I can convey just as much sex appeal,
picking apples off a tree or
standing in the rain.

What is The Manor? Looks like a fantastic location.
It’s my home. We call it Magothy Manor. When I first moved here, I had to run a part-time B&B here as hubby and his accountant had it listed as such. Last year I officially closed it. Now I can finally enjoy the place in peace.
Fantastic quote, and what beautiful photographs these are.
Thank you so much Lisa. it was one of those hard and fast summer rains.
You make the rain look like so much fun
After getting a thorough soaking this week in the warm summer rain, it is fun!
Lovely photographs and what a beautiful place you live in! Love the Audrey Hepburn quote too! 🙂
You are so kind, and appreciate your compliment. Hope you’re having a great weekend.
What a gorgeous place you live in. The rain make for a perfect photo. It looks like a painting. Beautiful.
Thank you so much Maralee. For some reason, the mild winter really made our garden look spectacular this year.
You have convinced me that taking photos in the rain is a worthwhile endeavour. Fantastic!!!
You are too funny Rebecca. I’m still scared of taking my equipment out into the rain, although people say it’s ok. I wait for lulls and zip out quickly and snap a shot.
I can just see you zipping in and out of the rain! When I zip, I end up falling into the flower garden/hedge. My husband watched in disbelief. He said it was like I had been consumed by the plants. What fun we have with our cameras….
Yep..you have to be careful there and not get eaten by the garden. Looks like I may be doing a little zipping today. Garden shots today as I’m staying home for a ‘rest’ day. I can watch the birds steal more of my cherries.
the woman – Audrey- had something few can acquire

thank you great images and a great quote
Isn’t that the truth? Audrey was a one of a kind person. Someone to aspire to. It’s my pleasure to share this with you will.
Audrey Hepburn are right, all girls should remenber that… 🙂 😉
Lovely atmosphere with the rain, very well captured… 🙂
I’m starting to really love the rain this summer. I better – it’s been raining practically every day!
“Who’ll stop the rain” sang Creedence Clearwater Revival – but we won’t let the rain stop us… 🙂 😉
Oh I love that song ! Thanks for reminding me of it Drake.
Your gardens are lovely, I didn’t expect them to be so formal.
Well..the shrubbery is sort of formal..inside the beds, sheer havoc ! I keep planting things and they die on me. What’s left is what survives winter and summer drought. I also through random seeds in there to see what will grow.
Summer rain falls on beautiful grounds waiting for it’s nourishment. Lovely photography, your gardens are wonderful Emily!
You are so kind Mary. You would love to spend time here. One year I had a lady come and paint our garden gazebo. It turned out beautifully.
Audrey Hepburn is spot on! Love your house, you lucky girl!
LOL ! You are funny Fatima. Let me give you a reality check. Big House/Big Garden = BIG CHORES !!
lovely photographs!!
Thank you so much for stopping by and commenting Pary. Hope to see you back soon. Bella
Hepburn is right and I hope the sun is now out.
