All year I tend to a tiny painted ceramic pot that holds a bulb that has been there for years.
Wait and wait I do, while watering and feeding.
Waiting for spring for the pair of red Amaryllis flowers to blossom.
The time is nearly here!
Spring is officially here as today the crocus have begun to bloom.
Before you know it bunnies will be running through the garden hiding Easter eggs.
Every great dream begins with a dreamer.
Always remember, you have within you the strength,
the patience, and the passion to
reach for the stars to change the world.

Your waiting will be rewarded!! Can hardly wait to see the outcome….
Me too ! The stalk is really long this year. I had it in a different window than usual. I think it was searching for the light.
🙂
This is beautiful, and I am sure it will be even more so when it blooms.
Worth all of the care you have given it.
I noticed our crocus leaves are beginning to come up, but I think the flowers will be a while yet.
Oh I hope your crocus bloom soon. Thank you so very much for your kind comment Lisa.
They are so beautiful, Emily.
Still wishing spring for you Bente. 🙂
Beautiful colors… 😉
Thank you so much Drake.
Beautiful flowers beautifully photographed!
Thanks Jerry ! I’m still trudging through Orchid images from at least 2 different field trips. About 47 so far. I think I need to get to an art show and sell some of these puppies.
What an amazing gift to share. Thank you for finding a way to brighten the day.
It is my pleasure Charlie, and I am so happy to bring cheer to your day. 🙂
Those flowers are gigantic and so beautiful. Real eggs or chocolate for easter bunnies? Hiding easter eggs in your garden sounds a lot of fun.
Humm..chocolate of course ! Now I need to borrow the neighborhood kids so I can do my own easter egg hunt. 🙂
I love how you look forward to spring and the signs you look for. Do you experience spring fever there? I have only experienced that once and I was overseas.
It does seem that I have spring fever doesn’t it Leanne? It keeps being spring-like then goes – uh uh, changed my mind. It’s cold and dreary again today. 😦
Isn’t it wonderful when the buds and flowers begin to appear this time of year? My daffodils and crocuses also opened just in time for Mother’s Day yesterday! The joy of flowers! 🙂
It really is Fatima ! Flowers are truly amazing.
That Amryllis looks gorgeous as it is Emily. Must be glorious in full bloom!
I can’t wait for it to blooms. Still not yet!
Magnificent colours Emily! I cannot wait to see what happens next!
Me too Judy ! I’ll certainly share when it’s in full bloom.
BTW…still waiting..almost!
Beautiful photos Emily ! And I love the quote 🙂
