Rosaryville State Park
Upper Marlboro, Maryland
This 982 acre multi-purpose park with trails throughout offers a perimeter nine-mile loop available for hikers, bikers and equestrians. Located nearby the main recreational area is a small abandoned farm. The Marlboro Hunt Club uses some of the old buildings for building cross country jumps for other hunt fields.
One wonders……
Who’s farm was this?
What did they farm?
Where did they ever go?
Why aren’t they farming now?
What are we going do to if everyone stops farming?
Can you name what the first picture is of?
