An early start to the day found me driving two hours north in the dark to Ephrata, Pennsylvania. Tucked in a tree in the middle of town is the nest of a Great Horned Owl. Her favorite tree for several years, she returns to raise her family.
It is no secret to the locals and area photographers and every day the owl paparazzi visit. The wise old Owl just sits and watches. Didn’t take long for the new kids to get used to people as well.
Beautiful shot.Owlets are cute,
Thank you B Singh. They are darling at this stage.

I had to wait for them to get to the cute stage David. Little they’re really ugly. 🙂
