The sloping landscapes of the Shenandoah mountains, come in many different colors. Green, yellow, orange and purple, these majestic mountains sing in beauty. Ray Charles’s rendition of America the Beautiful is the most soulful and heartfelt tribute to these Purple Mountain Majesties.

Beautiful photos.
Thank you so much. It was a fast, but beautiful trip.
Majestic indeed โค
How I love the mountains. How far are you from mountains Andy?
Very close ๐ literally 20 mins on the freeways ๐ ๐
Amazing Emily – your lens treats us to the most spectacular images. Happy Fall to you ~
You are so very kind Mary. As you can imagine, It’s been hard to get me back in the house lately. Such gorgeous weather.
These are spectacular, Emily, and I love the buildings against the backdrop. The colours are wonderful. We are just starting to see the autumnal colours here in UK. We have had the most glorious Indian summer, but the trees are just beginning to turn. I think we are in for a treat.
I always wondered what kind of autumn you would see in the UK. Are you going to share some captures?
The trees in my neighborhood has just ‘popped’ with color in the last day. Breath taking!
