Without thinking, it has become big cat week. First with the spotted ones; a cheetah and a clouded leopard. A walk towards the lion pen was certainly in order.

Luke and his mates, sisters Naba and Shera, had cubs in January, 2014. Now 21 months later the cubs are young adults. The boys and the girls are now separated and surely the cubs will have new homes in 2016.

It was time for the boys to have the pen and one boy was sitting in Luke’s favorite spot. His brother came in and lovingly brushed his brother up and took his spot. But it was all nice and polite and no fighting ensued. Just a little bit of brotherly love.
