I love the first one! I’ve been wanting to get back into night photography, maybe one of these nights I will. Reply
It’s actually pretty easy. This is with f/11, Aperture Priority, daylight white balance. The shutter speed was 30 seconds. Tripod mandatory. 🙂 Reply
Thank you Mary ! My favorite is the second one too. Love what the detail extractor did with the background. Made it look like canvas. Reply
We thought about going and taking a look at it last night, but we having, well seems like it, record cold nights and frost every morning, it has been freezing, so going outside to look hasn’t been appealing. I love the images you got. Reply
LOL ! I bet your idea of freezing is nothing like freezing in Alaska right? Just bundle up ! 🙂 Reply
Thank you so much Ali. The second one was taken with the 500mm. I just got the 1.4 x extender, can’t wait until it arrives. Reply
Oh my Tricia ! Hopefully you were able to enjoy the moon on another night. I saw it shining brightly again last night. Reply

Thank goodness I can rely on you to take a picture. I fell asleep. Thank you for posting this.
I’m so glad I bothered to go out and capture it as I woke up to a cloudy and rainy morning.
Wonderful to see it over the river, casting that huge golden trail 🙂
Thank you so much. I love the reflection as well. Last night was like the sun was out.
Stunning!
🙂 Thank you!!
Awe inspiring! Lovely pics!
Thank you so much Missy May. A truly gorgeous moon.
The first is a stunning vision. The second, magnificent!

We had tornado warnings where I was. No viewing a super moon, let alone a sky at all!
Oh my goodness. That must have been quite scary. Hope you are safe and sound now.
Lovely! My view was overcast. So glad you had clear skies!

Amazing, excellent captured… 🙂
