Whatever happened to the days where we only had a few beers to choose from. Budweiser, Schlitz Malt Liquor, Michelob, St. Pauli Girl, and Heineken? Have you been to your beer store lately? Seems American micro-breweries have taken over the world. I’ve never seen so many gourmet, custom, hand brewed beers in my life.
How on earth can I choose one when there are so many options. Way too many choices for this country mouse. Perhaps we should take one down, pass it around, to get 99 bottles of beer on the wall.

Looooooots of beers! 0.0
And this is just a small sampling. Can you imagine?
I can imagine lots of hangover parties coming right up! woohoo! 😀
Colorful packaging! Decisions! And more decisions!
I wouldn’t even know where to start.
Neither would I… 🙂
or just start drinking one of each
Join me will you?
Take the BRUX – love Sierra Nevada brews!!! There are whole box stores with brews, wines and spirits now – like a candy store for adults – ha:)
Looking at the label, that Brux does look rather good. I may have to go back and get one. 🙂
Oh my, LOL! Great post – there is nothing like a really cold (freezer cold) beer on a hot summer TX day when we finish our yard work and gardening, it truly hits the spot. Now if I could only choose which one?!
And that is when a cold beer tastes best. Yum..I remember those hot Texas days.
I am not a beer drinker, but they make a pretty interesting image.
I’m not too much either, but seeing so much variety tempts me to try at least one.
Haha, it’s too overwhelming to me! Those beers bring back memories of my dad, a die hard Bud man!
LOL ! indeed, there are true Bud men around. Especially in Florida.
These images will definitely make me fall off the wagon. Which one did you try?
Actually I was in there to buy a bottle of wine for a gift. I think I may go back and try that chocolate ale one though.
😆
And we need to try them all!!!!! Cheers!
We would be one very drunk blogger group. 🙂
Back when I came of age, there were many choices in beers available. But over the next few decades, the big breweries bought out all the smaller ones, and with less competition, quality suffered. The boom in micro-breweries is a reaction to that, so we have come full circle.
I think I was in drinking age during that time of big breweries then. This boom of micro-breweries is plain mind boggling. Where does one ever start?
One is better off never starting down that road, as it only leads down, and I speak from experience, having downed far too many.

My husband sure would like to go there! When he was younger he collected beers and still has over 200 unopened beers from all over the world – displaying on the wall in his old room at home. Although now he enjoys trying new sorts of beer, as I can see there sure are many to chose from.
That is amazing that he has all of those unopened beers. I bet some of them are collectible now. I think a lot of these are American beers which is mind-boggling. Thanks for your visit and comment. Hope to see you back soon.
Do like me: stick to wine! 🙂
Now that I know Fatima ! I agree, let’s be wino’s together. 🙂
Reblogged this on The Blogspaper.
Thank you for the repost.
Isn’t it wonderful lots of beer to choose from – instead of only the main downstream standard beers we see everywhere… 🙂 😉
I remember when visiting Germany in the late 1980’s I expected lots of different beers. But the pubs had three kinds only. How is it where you are with the beer?
Hailing from St. Louis, MO — a real beer city — we had a lot of labels back in the day, not to mention beer buckets filled to the brim (foam overflowing), taken home from the local taverns for the neighbors to enjoy on the stoop while they chatted up Cardinals baseball. Nice post. Now I’m really thirsty for a Griesedieck long-neck (look that one up). I think I’ll just take one down off your virtual brewskie wall and pass it around…99 bottles of beer on the wall…
Griesedieck – jeez, can’t say that, let alone spell it or say it three times out loud. Sounds Germany to me. Nothing better than beer and baseball. They go together. Thanks Tom!
That’s great! Wow, Ozzy beer! Who knew?!
I know..right? Ozzy Beer? Surprised they don’t have to pay him royalties.
Haha, the same thing is happening here, there are also so many different types of beer, who knows what is what.
I have no clue..think I’ll stick to champagne. Now that I know.
