One should not macro and hand hold. I got back from an early appointment and saw the raindrops sitting on the spring blooms. So quickly grabbing my Canon 7D with 100mm L f/2.8 lens, I went out to grab a few shots. It’s a busy day today, and not one for being able to truly slow down and do these photos justice.
I like that I was able to get some drops with reflections like I’ve seen on other blogs, so I’m looking forward to the next rain to play more in the garden. Have a wonderful weekend! Bella

Let the rain kiss you.
Let the rain beat upon your head with silver liquid drops.
Let the rain sing you a lullaby.

Wonderful, excellent captured… š
Thank you so much Drake. You’re such a sweetie.
These are beautiful Bella. I love the reflections in the water drops.
I wish I had spent more time photographing. The raindrops left quickly. Thank you so much.
i see a lot of reflection in a couple of your captures – and i think they are great – rain is a great time to play with the camera – wether for macro or normal captures
I agree ! I need to do it more Will. Thank you so much for your kindness.
and i only macro and hand hold – i so rarely use a tripod
Then you are the photography stud then Will. I totally wobble. One minutia of movement throws out my focus.
Beautiful Captures – Happy Weekend:)
Thank you so much Renee. Hope all is well with you.
Gorgeous work!! Have a great weekend ~
You are too kind Mary. Thank you so much and hope you’re weekend is going well too.
beatuiful macro shots! i specially like the one at the top right with the three waterdrops.
Thank you so much Evi ! I swear, I’ll do better next time. The background wasn’t perfect on that image.
They are very good for not using a tripod!
Thanks Jerry..I won’t tell you how many I threw out then. š
Been there, doing that
My eyes widened with pleasure at this collection Emily. Gorgeous. Sharon
It is truly my pleasure to share my spring with you Susan. Happy to be able to brighten your day. š
Super job with these close up rain drop shots Emily!
Thanks Phil ! I love it when you love my pics. š
Wow! Amazing captures of raindrops.
Thank you so much for your kind comment Tina. It’s great seeing you here and hope to see you back soon. Bella
Lovely raindrops captures. It is fun to see what you can find after a rain.
It is so true. There is so much that I have yet to explore.
Good reflections on those raindrops. I’m still experimenting with Macro with the hand-me-down Cannon SD1000 digital camera.
That is super ! Do you have a tripod to use with it also? I move so much is ridiculous ! So much for focus. LOL !
The technical quality was amazingly good, but what I realy liked was they were fun. The rain drops and the color really drew me into the photos.
You are truly awesome Charlie, and thank you so much for your kind and generous comment. I did have fun, but work was calling me. š¦
I agree with you. The macros that I’ve done that actually came out right are lucky shots. A tri-pod is certainly called for.
Glad you concur. Watching my focus, I’d lock it in and on smidgen of movement knocked it out again.
I love the reflections in the water drops!
Thank you so much Mary. I appreciate your kind comment and hope to see you back soon. Bella
Beautiful macro images, made all the more special with the raindrops. Gorgeous!!
Thank you so much Lizzie. I always envied these macros that I see with the raindrops and reflections. Now I know I can do it too!
Love the freshness of the flowers.
Thanks Fatima. There is nothing more rejuvenating than a fresh spring rain.
Beautiful shots Emily… I really should use my macro lens more, and these images make me want to do just that! š
You should Ian ! It’s fun and challenging. Thank you so much for such a great visit yesterday. š
You are welcome… I will always stop by for a look when I get a chance to be on here! š
