I went to Moldova when I was a child–and that is my most vivid memory: endless fields of sunflowers, as far as eye could see. To me then, they looked giant, and I wondered what it would be like to run through those fields, just be swallowed up by all that whispering gold. Thank you for reminding me of those moments.
I have never heard of Moldova, but as soon as you described the endless fields I could imagine them. Seeing you run through those fields of gold with sheer delight.

Now, I really can’t wait for summer and grow me some sunflowers. They are happy plants.
