I love bridges! In my life, they have come to signify a transition of time, location or thought. What a wonderful way to celebrate day 36! Great quote! Another one for my collection…
See what you’ve done to me Rebecca? Now I’m off looking for quotes and poems to go along with my daily photo. It’s all your fault !:-)
Indeed, bridges can lead us to so many wonderful things.
You have caught the quote virus. It will stay with you for the rest of your life. 🙂
Oh Oh…..I’m in trouble now!
Good quote and excellent pic, Emily. 🙂
Thank you so much Sylvia. I’m guessing that in your life many bridges have been crossed. 🙂
Yes, and a few burnt. 🙂
Me too ! Let’s celebrate those burnt bridges. 🙂
Absolutely. 🙂
Great quote and photo. 🙂
I appreciate your kind comment Alison. Thank you so much!
Great photo and what a great quote too… 🙂
I’m learning to be more philosophical from you and Rebecca/Clanmother. Such wonderful influences in my life.
Fantastic shot, wow! Look at the lines – they are tremendous bringing movement and energy to this scene. Oh yes, I do wonder what’s on the other end of the bridge – question: move forward or stay back?! I’m choosing to move forward ~ Mary
Always move forward Mary..and on the other end of the bridge, it’s really hard to see but there were three wise ring-bill gulls. 🙂
Beautiful perspective and lines.
Thank you so very much for your comments, and hope to see you back soon! Bella
The hardest thing is looking at this picture. I like it very much because I give’s me this spacy kind of feeling, Weird, ha?
No, not at all weird. Indeed, the lines and curves in this bridge does create a different perspective. Thanks!
Beautiful quote!!! Excellent shot!!!
Thanks Rexlin ! Now I know you like bridges/structural images too. 🙂
🙂
I love the photo! The county installed an almost identical bridge here for the path I walk everyday, and I’ve been eyeing it since it was set in place. But, they’ve got a big ugly barricade in front of it which ruins any photos.
Silly people, I guess they didn’t want people driving over the bridge then. No way to stand in front of the barricade and get it somehow? Thank you so much for stopping by.
Nice photo and wonderful quote. Bridges make great photo ops.
It is so true. I don’t think of it very often and there are several bridges around me as we’re on the water. I should take advantage of that idea ! Thank you so much!
Awesome photo! Nicely edited too!
Sweet Tricia ! So happy you liked my post processing. Sometimes it can be over the top, but I must admit, I like playing around with different looks. 🙂
What’s on the other side? I’m betting an alligator! No? Oh well. 🙂
Nope…I’d say it’s a bit cold for gators in Maryland. Although there were three ring-bill gulls on the railings at the end of the bridge if you look really well. 🙂
I love this!
Thanks Lynda ! I appreciate you stopping by and commenting. Hope to see you back soon. Bella
I want to find some bridges like this to photograph, I will have to go hunting now.
I love bridges and the quote is perfect 🙂
