Day 33: Stark Crow
A rooster crows only when it sees the light.
Put him in the dark and he’ll never crow.
I have seen the light and I’m crowing.

Day 34:
Love your eyes that can see.
Your mind that can hear the music.
The thunder of the wings. Love the wild swan.

Bella, both pictures are beautiful in their own right but the first one is just sensational!
Really? You like that one that much ! I thought it was interesting, but needed more “uumph’ in composition. The idea is solid though. Thanks for your comment and hope to see you back soon!
I really enjoy the bleakness of the image.
Thank you so much..appreciate your perspective on this. I must agree. I have a penchant for that tree.
It is my pleasure to look at your images!
I also really like the crow photo. Very powerful. Did you use some vignetting or is that natural? Very cool either way.
Hi Tricia, yes I added a small vignette to both of these images. So happy you enjoyed the crow photo. It really needs an Edgar Allen Poe quote. 🙂
I like them both, but for completely different reasons.
Awesome, they indeed are unique in their own right. Thank you!
Gorgeous images, Emily. The first one is very striking in it’s simplicity.
It is so surprising Sylvia. Here I am thinking everyone will fall in love with the swans..but no..it’s the black crow that people like. See, you never know! 🙂
Beautiful shots!!!
Thanks Rexlin ! Great to see you!
I thought by the title the pictures will be black and white. Duh! Well but off course, a black crow and white swans. Exquisite.
Wow..am I really 3 days behind in comments. I apologize for not responding sooner. LOL ! Yes, that was my intention, to keep you guessing as to what may be inside. 🙂
The first one is truly superb! Love it!
Thanks Madhu, I appreciate hearing which one you like, it helps me understand more what others like to see. 🙂
Both pictures are super good, but the first one is my favourite!! Awesome! 😀
You are so kind Calee, and I truly appreciate your comments and feedback. Hope all is well with you.
Very pretty, Emily. Love the loving swans! I wonder which is the boy?
Oh we could have fun with that..are they a couple, are they two girls out for an afternoon swim, or are they two boys out looking for love. 🙂
Well I’m lovin’ the tundra swans Emily. Super cool shot!
I LOVE the Tundra Swans when they are here in winter. Of course, their favorite haunts are in front of the docks of private homes. I got lucky that these two wandered from the flock towards the park.
LOVELY! love the bird’s profile…. and i just read about a swan totem this morning, funny! 🙂
Interesting..a swan totem. I will definitely have to look that up. Hope all is well with you.
I like the first one, the silhouette is amazing
Thank you so very much Leanne. That photo is one of those that I thought wasn’t very exciting, but got the biggest response. How is your new blog site working? I must confess I’m not heading over there too much. 😦
