What a lovely farewell message. 🙂
It truly is Sylvia. This is found in the Washington National Cathedral.
Eloquent and heartwarming…
He was such a fabulous leader and compassionate from what I get here. Thank you Rebecca.
He was my favorite. I can’t wait to go see the latest movie about him
The movie looks fantastic doesn’t it? That’s why I posted this in thoughts of the movie. I really know very little about him, but live in the area where he accomplished so much. Time to do some research/fieldtrips!
Yes do that and SHARE 🙂 I loved this man and what he stood for
Have read several historians say that the 3 greatest statesman and perhaps the only ones are Winston Churchill, Nelson Mandela and Abraham Lincoln – and I very much agree … 🙂
That is really interesting, and I must agree with you and the historians as well. True renaissance leaders with forward thinking.
What a wonderful message. I don’t know alot about Abraham Lincoln so I am very much looking forward to seeing the movie. What good company he keeps if he makes up the magnificent trio of Churchill, Mandela and Lincoln.
Corinne xx
Hi Corinne, Funny you said that about Lincoln, as I also know little of him. Could you imagine if these three lived in the same time? The world would be a better place.
Very heartwarming post and photo. I am looking forward to the movie : )
Sincerely,
judy
Thank you so much Judy ! I think the movie will be a fantastic hit!
