Well I made it to the top! With about 3,000 of altitude increase with an hour and a half of boulder scrambling.
The weather was the best ever, the colors spectacular and the company fabulous.
As you can see I couldn’t live without technology and managed to find cell service and Internet in the lodge lobby.
Time for intervention.

It so amazing to be at the top of Old Rag Mountain. This year was the first year we didn’t have a cold wind and could sit a spell.
Congrats! You did it again. It seems the foliage is more colorful this year Brings back pleasant memories.
Nice job! And the payoff was that incredible view.
