Summertime,
And the livin’ is easy
Fish are jumpin’
And the cotton is high
Your daddy’s rich
And your mamma’s good lookin’
So hush little baby
Don’t you cry
One of these mornings
You’re going to rise up singing
Then you’ll spread your wings
And you’ll take to the sky
But till that morning
There’s a’nothing can harm you
With daddy and mamma standing by
Summertime,
And the livin’ is easy
Fish are jumpin’
And the cotton is high
Your daddy’s rich
And your mamma’s good lookin’
So hush little baby
Don’t you cry
With rides that offer excitement for children of all ages to a beer tent for the dads, this small event offers big entertainment.
It may only be early Spring, but I’m ready for summer and enjoying the bright colors and sounds that the carnival brings each night. Perhaps I’ll get some cotton candy to go with that funnel cake…..

I love the colors of the top shot! Carnivals are great places to take pictures!
Thanks Michael! If I didn’t want to spend time eating carnival food I would have had more fun taking pictures
Oh I know what you mean about carnival food! There’s nothing like it!
Beautiful Post:)
Thanks!
Lovely – here the Fair comes in Fall – such beautiful photos.
Fall would be a wonderful time for a carnival. In Maryland we have a special one that I plan on posting about soon
Love the photos, the movemend, colors, and details. Can’t wait to take some myself.
You should plan on it this summer. I’ll remind you maybe we can do MD state fair in Baltimore
Sounds Great!
These photos are so bright and beautiful!
Thanks Shannon! I love carnival colors
Your photos make me want to rush the opening of the largest State Fair in the nation, the Texas State Fair. Several months yet to go.
Maybe I’ll add that to my travel blog in the fall:

You should do that Bill. I would love to see your post on the Texas fair. I always meant to go when I lived in Dallas but never made it
I love the picture of the glass bowls filled with different colors. I always have trouble taking pictures with glass because of the glare.
Hi ! What you can do is use a polarizer with your lens to cut down the reflections. In this case I was fortunate as they were sitting under a tent.
Great photos Bella. I love the glass bowls!
Thank you so much Mark – means a lot coming from you. Remember when they used to have gold fish in those bowls? My granddaughter was awesome with the game and won four fish. Her mother cursed me…LOL !
We love the crisp, vibrant color of this summertime fun! :):)
Thank you so much Maggie ! Indeed the vibrant colors are so lively.
