Setting Sail out to the mountains, by land you see. As the leaves are starting to change the color and there is beginning to be a crisp in the air. The mountains are calling me, along with their furry friends.
It’ll be wonderful to return to the Shenandoah mountains for a short respite from the hustle and bustle of modern life. Getting unplugged is not a choice but rather nature takes over technology here. Such peaceful bliss.
But no worries as wordpress will do my work for me while I’m gone. See you on the other side!

Happy sails! 😀
It was a wet journey, but oh so fantastic! Thanks Andy for your well wishes.
Have fun, relax, and enjoy life!
Did not have nearly enough time on the mountains. Need more…I think you can relate.
Have a beautiful trip Emily!
Oh Mary, how I wish you could have been there with me. Inspiration everywhere you look. You would have been in artist heaven.
Oh that’s a perfect set off, picture, prose and all, especially since I’m going backwards and know what your journey bestowed upon you. Where is that ship btw, and is it as big as it looks?
This is actually a model of some kind of ship. It’s on display at the Naval academy. Great sail boat isn’t it?
Indeed! That’s very cool.
