The crisp air fell onto the bay overnight. With a brisk breeze and clear skies autumn has arrived. With leaves falling like snowflakes and the color orange popping everywhere the eye sees.
It’s as if the pumpkin fairy Godmother has dropped off pumpkins at every doorstep. Some big, some small, some needing two people to carry.
A time of reflection and enjoyment before Father Winter blows in. Hope you’re enjoying every moment you can while the colors are here.

I’m glad that some one pays attention to such things, or I’d never notice the seasons changing. 😉
LOL ! You are too funny and I’m sure you’ve noticed far more than I.
I am amazed those sunflowers are still in such good condition so late in the year! Travelling through southern France, they were at their peak in early August! I suppose cooler temperatures help!
Well, got to admit these are flower shop flowers, so you know how that goes. They are stunning though.
Enchantingly beautiful.
Thank you so much!
