We’ve arrived to the cool Maine coast, through 8 states and nearly 800 miles. Passing through verdant Vermont and the White Mountains in New Hampshire and the Appalachian trail.
Driving through quaint true Americana towns today with American flags posted through their Main streets. Steeped in history, farming and pristine countryside.
Some long deserved time for rest and relaxation. Although the mosquitoes here are as large as horses! You know they’re big when you feel them land on you. At least I remembered my bug spray this trip.
Was able to watch a Loon fishing in the waters this evening. Can’t wait to explore and to share my discoveries.

You know..there very well could be. Although bet the horse size mosquitoes would chase you off.
No, I’m bigger than even Maine mosquitoes, and if all else fails, I’d light up a fat stinky cigar, they repel everything, even bugs.

Never enough. Oh the air here is so clean, and then you get to smell the balsam fir (think christmas tree) and you’re in heaven!

It truly is, although it was hot today and they don’t use air conditioners in the homes up here. Looking forward to the cool down this weekend.
