In the garden at the manor we have the Big and the Bold.
June yellows bringing summer cheer.
And the delicates to remind one of how precious life is.
If you knew that your life was merely a phase or short, short segment of your entire existence, how would you live? Knowing nothing ‘real’ was at risk, what would you do? You’d live a gigantic, bold, fun, dazzling life. You know you would. That’s what the ghosts want us to do – all the exciting things they no longer can.

Beautiful images and accompanying quote.
Thank you so much ! We should all live large.
Lovely set. I’m particularly fond of the buttery hues on the Yarrow shot.
Isn’t it interesting to watch our photography evolve? Somehow I really liked the first images dramatic. But also love the light bright, gentle feel of the others.
The Yarrow shot is very good.
Thank you so much Bjorn.
Beautiful… 🙂 🙂 😉
Thanks Drake!
so lovely…nice cuts.
I’m like my mother, we keep them in the garden to really enjoy. Bring them into the house and they die faster. 😦
Beautiful flowers! It’s a wonder that they survive, if you do in fact plant the way that you said you did.
Indeed they have survived well. If its not rained for a week we do water but it takes days as there isn’t a sprinkler system and its a big garden.
Stunning! Love the fly on the yarrow! Nicely captured once again.
Thanks Fatima ! Seems that one is the crowd favorite. I never know which one will be the hit.
Quite an incredible array Emily! Look great!
Thank you so much Phil. I love to hear what you think of my images.
You have beautiful flowers in your garden Emily.
Thanks Mark ! I tried to plant so that I had blooms every month. This is the first year I’m checking on my idea. 🙂
That’s a great idea. Makes me miss my old garden.
Pretty! You have done a stellar job on your garden and on the images! I just went out tonight to survey our yard between rain showers. I think the lilies will soon bloom. Your photo is lovely!
Yes, mine too. Although I have also planted at least 100 over the years and now have about 4. Oh well..Thanks Tricia.
Beautiful shots, your garden must be wonderful 🙂
Sometimes we forget how wonderful our world around us is until we literally stop and smell the roses. Thank you so much.
These are utterly gorgeous, a delight to view them. 🙂
You are truly too kind Jo. Thank you so much.
Beautiful images! I’m interested in how much ahead of me you are for bloom times. About 3 weeks I’d say. I’ll find out when my coreopsis and yarrow bloom =)
We’re in zone 7, although this spring has been unseasonably warm.
The difference a location makes! I’m zone 5 & our spring has been unseasonably cool. =-(
While ours has been unseasonably warm. Odd this climate change.
Beautiful! I can almost smell their fragrance
Thank you so much Cynthia. The Magnolia was stunning. Brought one in and it really bright such a fresh scent to the room.
These are awesome Emily ~ a couple of these close-ups are just stunning. I can only imagine walking the gardens of the manor and taking in the explosion of color.
Thank you so much Mary. I’m happy to see my flowers, but always want many many more. 🙂
Love the way you captured the tiniest bug. You are good.
I was hoping to get some bugs and butterflies, but not as many as I would like. Thank you sweetie.
Hey, can you capture some fireflies for me, please.
I just saw them this week and saw a post somewhere on how to photograph them. I’ll certainly try to do that. BTW, ordered your “Fleeting” print today. 🙂
OMG! I did not win, what you doing, girl? 😛
I like you…something about a great match with Wise Old Owl. 🙂
Woo Whooo…. awe shucks, thank you. That Owl and I are having a starting match all the time and it reminds me of you. There, you are in my living. 😛
Now that I would like to see – you and the owl staring at each other.
Ok, If you are sending me one, may I send you something in return? Is there any pictures you like in my amateur photo that I can send you?
Beautiful… wow!
Thank you so very much Jay. I appreciate your visit and comment and hope to see you back soon. Bella
Love, love, love your captures – enjoy the pops of color:) Have a Great Day!
