Are you on a diet? Lately, many of your posts have to do with food in one way or another. Maybe it’s that I’m trying to lose weight and I notice the subject more?
I had no idea what a ‘Krispy Kreme’ was until I moved to Florida, where KK was created. The morning the movers brought my stuff to my new home, a new neighbor brought a box of KK’s over. OMG, I had just went to heaven, or more specifically, went to fatty-fat-fat-ville!! How could something so LIGHT and FLUFFY enlarge itself 10X while on it’s journey to my butt?!? Thank goodness I moved back to Illinois, where we only have Dunkin Donuts, which thank goodness, are not my bag. Wellll, maybe I can stop by DD for National Donut Day though…. =-)
I had no idea that KK was started in Florida. No wonder I remember them so well as a child. I believe this store is original. Next time I’ll get the big sign light up at night. What a nice (or perhaps mean) neighbor you had. Really they are pretty spectacular though. There is a local donut shop near where I live in Maryland. They’re Greek and make awesome donuts. DD has no chance!
🙂 lol I know what you mean! my man is diabetic and buys sweets and then I give him the LOOK and he says well you can help me NO I spend 40 a month to BE GOOD 🙂
LOL ! I hate it when the boys tempt us with things we’re not supposed to have. Back to the no wheat/sugar thing again. I went off the wagon in Florida and I feel the difference.
I have been following ww half way with half the results been sitting too much and not walking as JT and I did before I went on retreat now hurt so bad so I must mix up this diet thing once again! gets old 🙂
Oh it does get old quickly doesn’t it? I’m finding kicking the wheat and sugar helps quickly. Keep at it. It’s the long term goal that makes it worthwhile.
Yes slow and steady I have my strength back doing yoga for the elderly though 🙂
Yummy!
I hadn’t had them in a really long time. I forgot how sweet they are. But they really do melt in your hand.

Lol! You do make me laugh. Nope I’ve been eating when I shouldn’t be. Let me tell you these sugary overloads melt in your hand and mouth
Reminds me of a time my daughter and I bought a whole tray of Krispy Kremes and ate half of each one each, in one evening! 😀
Are you kidding? When they’re hot I can eat 1/2 dozen in about 3 minutes. They really are amazing aren’t they?
Not so great for the waistline but yes they are!
But so worth it once in awhile. 🙂
