Welcome to Florida!
Haha ! Thanks Michael ! it rained three solid days, then I flew back to Maryland on Friday only to arrive in…more rain ! 🙂
Hey, at least it’s a tropical depression and not a personal depression!
When I woke up, it became Tropical storm Andrea. Luckily there wasn’t much wind with her in Gainesville.
For the other..nope, have meds for that. 🙂
Oh….that does look ominous…. Keep safe!
I was lucky, it skirted around where I was and the rain didn’t start until many hours later.
Ooo makes for a lovely photograph though 🙂
I loved seeing the storm roll in. We don’t get to see this very often on the east coast.
Wonderful colored sky… 😉
Thanks Drake. It was a bit ominous.
I love a good storm – certainly brings out the best light and the colours in the sky…your picture is superb, I can almost taste the ozone
You’re right – there was ozone! And the wind began to blow in earnest. The birds and fish were busy eating to fill themselves before the storm hit.
Great shot of that broody sky! 🙂
I’m so glad I had my iphone in my pocket so that I could capture it. Edited in PS Express.
Now that’s what I’m talking about! Beautiful storm cloud structure, perfect timing – stay safe.
Thank you so much Mary ! I was lucky, other than lots of rain, tropical storm Andrea was insignificant where I was.
Lovely pic, Emily. It certainly does look like rain. 🙂
And Lots of it ! 🙂
Love watching storms roll in:) Have a Great One!
I do too, don’t get to see this too much where I live in Maryland. I loved watching this storm.
Blue! My favourite colour!
That’s wonderful Fatima. I’ll remember that. 🙂
It’s moving up the coast we should be getting it soon.
My friend the TV weather guy would love your photo!
Feel free to send it to him. This was taken at Cedar Key Florida
When it rains there, it really rains. Keep your powder dry!
Florida is crazy ! It rained for three days solid. Came home on Friday to more rain. 🙂
Hope you are all OK it is now headed our way I hope it runs out of steam!
I think you should be all right today. it was just raining hard in Maryland when I got here on Friday. Good luck this weekend.
Ok yes right now we are in a lull but if I step into the garden the skeeters will have their way with me 🙂
So I added some Pretty Pink Peonies to my online store, played words with friends now reading and commenting on Blogs.
I swept and Vac. the floors and did dishes and made the bed no need to mop floors with us tracking is dirt till it dries a little
I should whip up a piece of Polymer Clay to use in beading but no drive yet too enamored by my Cardinal family just outside the window 🙂
Oh my goodness you do make me laugh..and exhausted. You are such an energizer bunny. Don’t know how you do all of it. Amazing!
🙂 no I work too long and suffer for days but the rig used to be 18 hrs most days so I feel like I am a kid going to bed early lol
I remember how you used to drive a truck. That is so impressive. You must have mountains of energy. I am so jealous. I’m all about sleeping. 🙂
OH I do miss my rig and the quietness all day well until I hit the CITY Streets of Boston 🙂
Boston city traffic..what a nightmare!
I LOVED IT A blonde female with a pretty BLUE Rig they all got out of my way 🙂 Yes I know Power Trip 🙂
Ah, such a stunning shot… LOVE these vistas when they roll in, even with what they may bring. 🙂
It was awesome feeling the storm come in. The winds picking up, the birds active. A moment so alive.
So it seems the rain loves to follow you. Welcome back.
