I’m leaving on a jet plane. Don’t know when I’ll be back again. Oh babe I hate to go. But all my bags are packed and ready to go.
Heading from one steam bath to another. An overdue trip to North Central Florida for a few days. While I’m flying high in the sky, enjoy this beautiful sunset on the river after yesterday’s rain storm.

faço a minha parte no mundo. abraços.
And she SINGS, too! 🙂
You have made me smile Tom. Indeed, I have been known to do that. 🙂
The sunset photos are spectacular! Stay cool in Florida, and don’t let a gator get you!
I wanted to find a gator so bad for you Jerry, but the rain kept me inside most of the time. It was cool though, which was amazing ! Went fishing that night of the storm in Cedar Key and caught a small sting ray though.
Gorgeous! I love the smooth, silky water as the sun’s orange-glow blankets it’s warm body.
You are such a wonderful poet Mary. Thank you so much.
Absolutely gorgeous! I took a deep breath and sighed just looking at them 🙂
Now that is what makes it all worthwhile for me. I’m so happy you were able to take a peaceful moment with these.
Thank you yet again for such stunning pictures. Have a wonderful time in Florida and enjoy the sun. 🙂
It is always my pleasure Fatima. So happy you enjoyed these. As you saw..no sun this week. 🙂
AMAZING – the colors are so RICH! Happy Tuesday:)
Funny, when I saw the sky it didn’t look so vibrant, but the camera captures the color really well. A little boost in post processing and voila!

This is so beautiful Will. We need to put these two together to create an award winning poster. Thank you!
Gorgeous
You are so kind. Thank you so much for stopping by and commenting. Hope to see you back soon.
Utterly, utterly beautiful
I wish you could have been there with me Jo. Thank you for such kind words.
There is a clear and detailed feel in all of your photography. Full transparency and an invitation to experience all the beauty of our wonderful world.
Really the truth is, is that it doesn’t take much to make me happy. Enjoying nature’s simplicities is so easily overlooked by others. I find it interesting that you get a ‘clear and detailed’ feel in my work. I feel like i’m still struggling to find my ‘style.’ Thank you so much Rebecca for such wonderful feedback.
Beautiful shots Emily! Very nice work!! 😀
Thank you so much Ian. It’s great to see you. How have you been? I’m back home so can catch up on some reading.
Wow! So stunning!!!
You are so kind Soonie. So happy to share these with you. Here’s hoping I’ll capture more this summer.
Beautiful. Enjoy the flight!
Thank you so much for the well wishes. The trip was wet, but wonderful. It’s always good to be back home though.
wow emily! this looks like you were at the right place at the right time! those picutres are fantastic!
enjoy your trip!!
You’re absolutely right Evi. I know that after good rain storms, with some alto cumulus clouds = great sunsets. I took my boat out onto the water to this spot to get the shots. It only lasted about 10 minutes though.
Those are stunners Emily!
Thanks Phil for such wonderful words. XXOO
What beautiful photos, they are superb ! Have fun in Florida, how I envy you ! 🙂
Ok..maybe you’re not so jealous now that you know a tropical storm hit Florida when I was there. It was still fun though.
Oh no ! I wasn’t aware of this tropical storm, I haven’t watch TV for the past 2 or 3 weeks ! I’m glad to know you’re fine 🙂
Just beautiful…! And, I hear you guys might be getting a bit of rain!! Of course now I’m up north, hah!
Where are you today? (Sat?) Guess the rain got to you. 🙂
Stunning! Hope you had a relaxing trip.
They are really stunning images Emily, I am so far behind and you are probably back now, but I hope you had a great trip.
