Canon G12, macro setting. Edits in Color Efex Pro: Fog, Foliage, Pastel, Image border.
We travel together,
passengers on a little spaceship,
dependent on it’s vulnerable reserves of air and soil,
all committed Β for our safety,
to it’s security and peace.
Preserved from annihilation only by the care,
the work and the love we give our fragile craft.

Flower reminds us of Easter. π π
Can you believe Easter is just around the corner?
Beautiful color captured… π
The quote so true… π
Thank you so much Drake !
So sheer and delicate! Beautiful! Happy weekend to you!
Thank you Soonie. Hope you have a great weekend too.
I need to give Color Efex another try. I never use it but I like what you are doing.
Thank you so much. You also produce great photos, so look forward to seeing what you come up with.
Beautiful!
Somehow this comment got buried a little. Thank you so much Kate!
This is just beautiful!
Thanks Lisa!
Very delicate, and sweet!
Thank you so much Bente.
Absolutely beautiful!!
I appreciate your kind comment Paige. Hope to see you back soon!
Stunning colours Emily!
Thanks Judy ! I do have a fondness for crocus. So small, so bright, so charming.
Delicate and fragile, and oh so beautiful.
Thank you so much Charlie. Do you get to see crocus in Seattle?
I love flowers, but it will be a while before there are many around here, so I’m glad you posted this one!
I really do feel for you Jerry. I do enjoy winter when it begins as I’m ready for a change. But about now I get tired of the wind and the cold. When does it start to become spring near you?
Good question, last year it was in the 80’s already, way too hot for me, this year, the weather man is saying that winter may hold on until the middle of April. Another snowstorm in the forecast for this week.
Now that is really confusing then…The weather forecasters have been quite wrong for us in the past year, so I pretty much ignore them and just look at the doppler.
Gorgeous!! Thanks for sharing this happy picture & the post edit info! Have a great weekend, Emily!
It is my pleasure Calee. I didn’t give up all my secrets, but certainly the edit info will head someone down the right path.
Delicate, indeed. Very nice pose that you captured.
You are too kind Tom, and thank you so much for your generous comment. Down and dirty I had to get to capture this image.
A magnified crocus. Beautiful. I’m learning how to use macro in this miniature hand-me-down Cannon camera. Still learning.
You know what I discovered with this exercise? Is that once the focus point is set, due to the delayed shutter reaction, our natural movement knocks the camera out of focus again. Hard to get a good macro shot close up with a point & shoot unless you’re using a tripod.
The green and purple look amazing Emily!
Thank you so much Phil ! I’m learning day by day how to transform these images.
Looks like a perfect Easter shot for a greeting card. Beautiful.
Thank you so much ! Perhaps one day it might be one. π
What an absolute stunner Emily, it is really beautiful.
Thank you so much Leanne. I think I have to agree, one of my best ones. Happy Spring!
