It wasn’t easy getting this shot as it has been quite cold lately. My photo model, Sunshine has become an indoor kitty and refuses to go outside in the cold. This morning she kept running away from me as she thought I was going to grab her and throw her outside. I finally had to wait for her to settle down on her favorite blanket and start to doze. Waking her up, she refused to look straight at me. Sigh…models.

Sunshine did stay snuggled all day and stayed warm for me. Hope you had a warm day yourself.

That was her name when I adopted her. She and her little (non related) brother would tear around the house like wild banshees. I wanted to call them Bonnie & Clyde, but she wouldn’t respond to anything but Sunshine. 🙂

Funny back story and one which I can relate. I find cats very unwilling subjects, so I got humor in you chasing Sunshine around for a photo. At least it was worth it! The image is hauntingly beautiful.
It really was rather comical. She’d get to a good spot with nice lighting, look at me. I’d raise the camera to my eye and she’d bolt off ! It was funny. 🙂

I love the prismatic quality of her eye! beautiful shapes and colours. I would love to get a shot like this but it seems the subjects tend to scarper as soon as i raise the camera! lol (a little like the game Sunshine plays with you)
