There is a man that wanders the midwestern countryside in search of long forgotten places. Mike from Colorado shares these old beauties with life introspection.
I drive by this red barn twice a day on my way to the horse barn. Usually in the morning I hoped to one day catch it in the afternoon light. I was there but just a tad late so missed the warm afternoon autumn light. I also had to use my iPhone as I hadn’t really planned ahead well enough.
Mike has wonderful countryside photos. Pay him a visit and enjoy Michigan with him.

I love that you would make mention of me and honor me in this way. Just one clarification…..I am actually in Colorado but traveled for a bit in Michigan this summer, capturing some barns there. Thank you Bella.
Oops! Thanks for the clarification Mike! Updated my post accordingly. I always love your photos of time forgotten and it is my pleasure to honor you today.
Thank you Emily. This is very sweet.
We love this photo! Reminds me of Wisconsin and my uncle Ralph’s dairy farm. 🙂
Thanks Maggie ! Truly, this is a really cool barn. There are more in the area that I think I’m going to try to get next week.
Outstanding image of this barn in a terrific setting!
Thanks Phil ! Got to admit, that little iPhone did a pretty good job with this. Especially after some lightroom adjustments. One day I’ll get the “gallery shot” of this barn.
