Acadia

Bright White Acadia

The scenery in Acadia is nothing short of spectacular.

From the protected forests and summer blooming wild flowers to the salty seas dotted with small islands.

Fog rolls in after a sudden change in air temperatures against the warm water.

Visits to Northeast Harbor with its classic Hinckley boats,

And Bass Harbor, safe keeping the working boats of the island’s lobster men.

To the exclusive Seal Harbor where Martha Stewart’s boat is anchored.

An island that has the best of all worlds in one place, boating, nature and carriage horses.

Acadia is truly paradise including a foot bridge in Somesville,

To a quiet lighthouse on Baker Island.

The island life is certainly for me!

    • I wonder Drake ! You would be amazed with the antique boats that are just sitting in the harbors there. From the 1920’s to 1940’s these wooden boats are all meticulously maintained with varnished teak throughout.

    • Hi Michael ! Will be driving to Orlando tomorrow to catch a jet airplane. Will think of you when I go through your home town. You know, that bridge shot? I didn’t think I had the shot until I went to the series to do this post. I was amazed how good that had turned out !

And the fog…I agree, too awesome.
