Have you ever been to Grayson Highlands State Park in VA? They have several herds of “wild” ponies and the mares give birth around this time of the year. Oh my goodness ! I have never heard of these wild ponies so close to us! This is fantastic that it combines my two favorite things – the AT and horses. I SO want to do this and will put it on my Leap List for this year. Thanks for letting me know.
