Hey Moe..what do you think she’s doing?
I have no idea Joe. She keeps staring at us.
What do you think? Think it’s safe to walk by her?
Let’s tell Mr. Willit that the coast is clear.
Hey, Mr. Sanderling – Go for it!
Moe and Joe, along with all of their friends, stroll peacefully on the beach of Sanibel Island. A true paradise found.
Love, Love, LOVE! So many of our bird friends that have flown as winter approaches, you are enjoying there… Please say HELLO to them for me, will you, Emily? Beautiful images….
You know you’re always with me by spirit. And I’ll certainly give them a big hello for you.
Especially the willets, I have a real soft spot for them… β€
lovely
Thank you so much!
I love the last, a real beautiful sunset with the birds, really beautiful
Thank you so much Nelson. Couldn’t believe how fast the sun sets here.
Fantastic, as always! These birds look like they just have so much personality. Nice work!
I’m always looking for the humanity in the wildlife I observe. They do have personalities for certain. Thank you so much!
I love that third one. “well, gotta run!!”
That is exactly what they’re thinking. They watch the people then figure out if they need to run or not.
I miss the beach birds of Florida. .. Gosh darn, I’m missing the beach right now also!
Oh how I wish you could be here with me Ilex. The beach truly has been heavenly and I needed it so much.
I will have to live thru your photos for now!
Oh what a fun and perfect story! I enjoy the simplicity in these shorebirds’ colors at the same time they’re so varied. And even as their colors blend them in with the landscape they’re sharp and distinct (at least to me). The sunset bird is really special, what a great shot. How close were you would you say?
My dearest LP..I owe you so many replies from your earlier visit. I’ve been on holiday as you can see and taking a break.
I do love how mother nature dresses her kids in outfits that match their environment. For that sunset bird, he got pretty darned close. Probably would have pooped on me. π
No worries!!! Enjoy your holiday, take in the good times. Hope it fuels your creativity. π
I like the way you describe mother nature dressing her kids! π How nice it was that close, and that you didn’t get pooped on for that matter.
Brilliant and beautiful images
Thank you so much Mark ! Having a blast here.
Superb!
Thanks Fatima!! Wish you were here.
A lovely sundown shot here, Emily. A little gentler with less fire! Soothing, not so dramatic…
I do love your captures, they are always so stunning. Thanks Mike for the great start to a lovely day.
Thank you kindly! I was glad to find some lovely skies on your blog too.
I try, but don’t get out nearly enough. Hubby..old ball and chain, what can I say. LOL! Off for the day, have a great one.
