As most of us are ready for Sandy to make landfall, just remember
‘The Old Guard’ is out there today, still guarding the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
The tomb has been guarded continuously since 1937.
This is what dedication to service is all about and their mission which they uphold with such honor.

I agree. I feel for the soldiers when a huge wind gust kicks up and the rain has been relentless
honor among its citizens as held by its men in the military would really help this country pick itself up— we could use a BIG dose of honor—as an aside—one of my sons lives in Brooklyn–i hope all come thru this trial safe
How did your son manage from the storm Will? Is he all right? it is such a mess in New York tonight. Such a shame. It’ll take a long time to get things back to normal up there.
